And then there was Rodney. This particular fine specimen was only dimly self-aware enough to think of himself as being anything in particular, but had strong tendencies towards petty cruelty such as tripping others and calling names, though he was only able to regurgitate what he had already heard from others. Rodney's flaws weren't attributable to a broken home, to poverty, or to unfortunate genetics; he just turned out that way. His parents hoped he might someday at least enter into politics.
