Attempt to be at ease

 

A host gestures at a chair and says, "Please make yourself comfortable." A guest looks at the chair with a hand on their chin and says, "Impossible, but I appreciate the sentiment."

I have sometimes been taken to task for being an insufficiently relaxed guest.
